Pfeil & Holing does not pre-compute your shipping charges. Your order represents a unique combination from over 7,500 items in our line. Every item has differing weights and dimensions requiring different sized boxes. To accurately calculate the true shipping cost, we must first pick and pack your order. We then weigh and measure your shipment (some are charged by weight, others by dimension), and get a real price generated by the carrier. We ship your order in the least expensive fashion (for instance, an order over 200 lbs. qualifies for lower “hundredweight” costing). You pay ONLY the true shipping cost.

Other companies will pre-set shipping cost according to some percentage (say, 15% of your order). This is more than enough to offset any potential shipping charge they may find. It almost always leads to overcharging you. We believe you should only pay for the service you receive. We have treated our loyal customers this way for over 78 years. Sales Tax
Sales taxes are charged to end-users only in the state of New York. If you are incorporated in New York State, and use our decorations for resale, you MUST sign and return a Resale Certificate with your business entity number. If we do not have your signed and complete NYS Resale Certificate on file each year, we will charge the appropriate sales tax for New York. This is the law, and no exceptions can be made.
